This Joe. He's a busker and I usually see him in Bolton or Mancheser. Joe is possibly the worst busker on the planet but with a warm heart. I took this portrait with a 35mm lens and was about a 12 inches from his face. He managed a half smile but to me this picture tells a story of a hard life probably including drink and drugs.

I decided to apply a Kodak Polachrome effect to this image, mainly because I felt that black and white didn't show any character.
