Masterclass Digital Photography Workshops in Tuscany Combine Professional Teaching and Exotic Photo Opportunities
The masterclass digital photography workshops are led by Javier Ideami, an award-winning artist and instructor of best selling masterclasses at the London School of Media, Film and TV, and Mark Abouzeid, a Tuscan expert and renowned travel photographer whose work has been featured in numerous major publications and web portals.
Ideami's photography workshops artistic lessons, which take place in a professional studio, are structured to teach students to master light, point of view and subjects as a means of communication.
"Photography, like other visual arts, is a gift, an opportunity to leave behind the surface and navigate the roots of human perception," explains Ideami. "When you begin to understand the mysteries of light, everything that surrounds you takes on a new meaning, richer, deeper; this transcends photography itself and takes you closer to the art in itself, the art of seeing."
The intimate knowledge of Tuscany that Abouzeid brings to the digital photography workshops gains students access to the most picture-perfect areas of the land, including his favorite secret locations.
"I try to capture on film how the Tuscans truly are and not how they would have us see them," says Abouzeid. "I have traveled the whole world looking for a home. This is it, and these are my family. Through this course, I introduce students to my Tuscan family and my beautiful home."
The masterclasses are limited to eight people to ensure substantial individual attention and registration fees include the costs of room, board and expeditions to shooting locations. The course concludes with a morning hot air balloon flight to give students a chance to capture Tuscany's landscape with aerial photography and test their new skills.
